Southwestern Community College has been awarded a grant from NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) to enrich STEM education in our schools and communities, in partnership with Appalachian State University.

Adjunct instructors will need to sign an employment agreement for the course(s) taught each semester.  The amount to be paid, and timeframes will be listed on your agreement.

Checks are distributed the last working day of each month. Payroll checks will be available for pickup in the College Business Office until 1 p.m., on the monthly payday however if your check is not picked up by 1 p.m., it will be placed in the U.S. Mail.  Direct deposit is available following for faculty after their first year of instruction.
