Registered nurses care for patients and promote their physical, mental and social well being. The duties performed by RN’s include monitoring patients status and progress, providing care and administering medications.  The title of registered nurse encompasses a wide range of specialties among them: hospital nurses,  physician office nurses, home health nurses, geriatric nurses and public health nurses to  name a few.

Interested students that currently hold an LPN or Paramedic license will be eligible to complete an LPN to RN or Paramedic to RN program. More information can be found on pages 193-194 of the current catalog. To be considered for this Advanced Placement option, students must meet the January 31 application deadline.
