The scholarships are worth $10,000 apiece and can be used to help offset costs of tuition, fees, books, tools and more.

Held from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sept. 23 on our Jackson Campus, this summit aims to bring people together for honest conversations, practical ideas and helpful resources. There is no cost to attend.

For the first time, SCC is offering training to help individuals earn a Commercial Driver License (CDL). Large emergency vehicles, 18-wheelers and vehicles transporting hazardous materials all require a CDL.

All seven will soon be providing vital healthcare services to area residents.

Every semester after classes begin, SCC offers a selection of courses that can be taken at an accelerated pace. These classes are designed for students who realize they could add a few hours to their course-load and also for anyone who wasn’t able to start right when the regular semester began.
