Placement Test Score Request

Guidelines for obtaining official test scores: 

  • SCC can only release scores for placement tests completed at our institution (i.e., ACCUPLACER, RISE, CASAS, etc.). We cannot release copies of other types of tests (i.e., SAT, ACT, ATI-TEAS, etc.) or placement tests completed at other institutions.
  • Normal processing time is 1-2 business days for all requests. Same day pick-up requests are not permitted.
  • Test Score requests will not be processed for students who are indebted to the college. If you have a hold on your account, please ensure that you pay all balances before submitting a request form. Click here for Business Office contact information.  
  • SCC does not charge a fee for test score requests.

Test Score requests may submitted by using our online form or by submitting the paper request form in person or by mail, email or fax.

In-Person Requests:
The Testing Office is located in Room 118 on the first floor of the Balsam Center on the Jackson Campus.Requests may be made in person Monday-Thursday 8AM - 5PM.

Mailed, Emailed or Faxed Requests:
You may download a Placement Test Score Request form and submit it to the Testing Office in one of the following ways:

Options for obtaining your test scores:

Test Scores may be picked up in person or sent to the student or to a third party via mail, email or fax.

In-Person Pick-Up:

  • Score reports may be picked up in person Monday-Thursday 8:00AM-5:00PM.
  • The Testing Office is located in Room 118 on the first floor of the Balsam Center on the Jackson Campus.
  • A valid government issued photo ID is required to pick up official copies of test scores.
  • If you would like someone other than yourself to pick up the test scores, please include this on the release form with their full name and that you give them permission to pick up the scores on your behalf. They will be required to provide a valid photo ID to pick up the test scores.
  • Same day pick-up is not permitted.
Mail, Email or Fax:
  • Please include the full mailing address, email address or fax number to which the test scores should be sent on the request form.
  • Some educational institutions only accept official test scores via postal mail. It is the student’s responsibility to determine the preferred method of receipt when sending test scores to a third party.
