To Request your GED/HiSET Transcript

Please go to the following website.
From this website you may select from the following:
  • High School Equivalency Records
  • North Carolina GED® Records Requests
  • 2014 and beyond Test Completers
North Carolina changed its GED® credentialing process from the awarding paper transcripts and GED® diplomas to a paperless electronic transcript system for students taking the test in 2014 and beyond.

When test takers pass the GED® test, they receive a secure, electronic document delivered to their email address. The document will include a transcript and an electronic copy of their North Carolina GED® diploma.
The 2014 and beyond tester has the option to order a professionally printed North Carolina GED® diploma free of charge. Students can also forward the free electronic transcript they receive directly to potential colleges and employers.
Log onto your account to request a transcript or verification.
Employers and Third - Party Verification Agencies may also request a transcript from this website.
2002-2013 Test Completers
Students who graduated between 2002 and 2013 who want to request additional transcripts/certificates will be emailed their transcript/certificate.
Additional requests will cost the completer $15.00. Test takers can sign in to the GED Credentialing™ Website to easily and securely order their duplicate transcripts or diplomas.
1942-2001 Test Completers
The NCCCS High School Equivalency (HSE) Records Office will fulfill verification, transcript and diploma requests for individuals who tested before 2002.

There is no charge; however, there is a 10-25 business day turnaround for processing.  Please plan accordingly.
