Three hundred and thirty four students received associate’s degrees, diplomas and/or certificates at the conclusion of Southwestern Community College’s spring semester.
Among the graduates, 36 earned Cum Laude honors (3.85-3.89 GPA) while 48 were named Magna Cum Laude (3.90-3.94 GPA) and 42 were Summa Cum Laude (3.95-4.00 GPA).
Thirty-seven graduates are New Century Scholars, who were identified as “high-potential” students when they were in the seventh grade and were guaranteed the opportunity of an education at Southwestern without the worry of tuition and fees, thanks to the generosity of their respective communities.
