At the conclusion of the fall semester, 143 Southwestern Community College students earned their associate’s degrees, diplomas and certificates.
Sixteen earned academic honors, including five graduating Cum Laude (3.85-3.89 GPA), two magna cum laude (3.90-3.94 GPA) and nine Summa Cum Laude (3.95-4.00 GPA).
Seventeen others are New Century Scholars, who were identified as “high-potential” students when they were in the seventh grade and were guaranteed the opportunity of an education at Southwestern without the worry of tuition and fees, thanks to the generosity of our community.
