Fall has arrived, which means radiography students at Southwestern Community College have begun their clinical rotations at various hospitals in the area.

Under the guidance of radiography professionals at their respective hospitals, students will learn about x-rays and other duties required in the radiography profession.

Once students have earned their two-year associate degrees, they can choose to work in diagnostic x-ray departments or they also have the option to specialize in areas such as nuclear medicine, sonography, mammography, CT (Computed Tomography), radiation therapy, MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), or they can continue their education at a four-year university.
