Surrounded by roughly 200 friends, family and supporters, 67 Southwestern Community College students became the first group inducted into Southwestern’s newly formed chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success on Feb. 18.
Throughout the month of December, students, alumni and staff from Southwestern Community College’s Upward Bound program worked to make sure 2014 started well for many.
More than 200 students made the president’s list for the fall semester at Southwestern Community College, and 184 others were named to the dean’s list.
