On a periodic basis, you will be required to change your Datatel password. As a result, it would be good practice to ensure your login is up to date each semester prior to the registration period. If your password has expired, you will be presented with the following dialog box:
Simply click "OK" and you will be presented with a gray screen similar to the one below:
In this window, enter your new password and insure that it meets the following requirements:
- It must be eight characters long.
- It must be different from your previous password.
- It must contain both letters and at least two numbers.
If your new password does not meet all of these requirements, you will be asked to change your password again. You will not be able to login to Datatel until you create a password which meets every requirement. We understand this is an inconvenient measure, but this is due to new state audit guidelines which require us to enforce regular password changes.
