Creating a Voiceover for PowerPoint
 

? Question:   What's the easiest way to create a voiceover for my PowerPoints to share with students?

√ Answer:   If you are new to this process, E-Learning recommends that you try Collaborate. Follow these steps to get started:

  1. Add a Collaborate activity in your Moodle course. For a tutorial on creating a Collaborate activity, please click here.
  2. Join the Collaborate virtual classroom session you just created. Upload your PowerPoint (or other document) into the session.
  3. Start recording the session and talk through your presentation. When you’re done, click “Stop Recording.”
  4. Close the session window. Your recording will be added to Moodle, though not immediately (the longer the recording, the longer it may take to appear). Just open the Collaborate activity to view.
