New wave of nurses graduate

2026-05-27

To address the region’s nursing shortage, Southwestern Community College has recently sent out 25 new graduates into the workforce.

They were honored in a pinning ceremony on May 7 at the college’s Jackson Campus.

These grads will take their official licensure exams this summer so that they can begin working in area hospitals and other community healthcare facilities.
