Pinning ceremony honors SCC’s Nurse Aide grads

Eleven graduates of Southwestern Community College’s Nurse Aide program were honored during a pinning ceremony on June 16 on SCC’s Jackson Campus.

Kaitlyn Rodriguez of Glenville, Jodi Gravitt of Waynesville, Jessica Bryson of Sylva, Dayami Cruz of Franklin, Hope Ward of Cashiers, Ashton “Grace” Shook of Franklin, Autumn Colton of Sylva, Madison Coffey of Waynesville, Serina Penland of Hayesville, Jessica Van Assche of Sylva and Adrianna Garcia of Franklin are eligible to work under the supervision of licensed nursing professionals in performing nursing care and services for persons of all ages – though Nurse Aides primarily provide care for the elderly.
