Pinning ceremony recognizes Physical Therapist Assistant graduates

After two intense years of classroom learning and hands-on clinical training, eleven Southwestern Community College students have become Physical Therapist Assistants.

Madison Worley of Murphy, Tiffany Raper of Robbinsville, Megan Lewis of Sylva, Zoe Kindley of Sylva, Hannah Wicker of Lake Junaluska, Anika Farmer of Franklin, Ryan Decker of Asheville, Brett Chandler of Asheville, Jacob Papale of Statesville, Braeden Alexander of Murphy and Maddie Wren of Hendersonville have earned their associate degrees and were honored at a pinning ceremony on May 15 in the Burrell Building on the Jackson Campus.

Upon successfully passing their state licensure exam, graduates are eligible for employment. They also have the opportunity to continue their educational journeys at four-year institutions.
