Southwestern Community College honored the newest group of Respiratory Therapy graduates during the May 14 pinning ceremony on the college’s Jackson Campus.
These students include Kristy Watson of Fairview, Bridgette Roman of Franklin, John Garrett of Murphy, Kayla Koonts of Cullowhee and Hannah Shepherd of Sylva.
Four additional students were recognized during Blue Ridge Community College’s graduation ceremony on May 9 as they completed their degrees within the Western North Carolina Respiratory Care Consortium, an accreditation that allows SCC’s degree in Respiratory Therapy to offer a satellite program at BRCC.
These students include Clay Vinson of Rabun Gap, Georgia, Kay Kelly of Fort Worth, Texas, Kim Buff of Asheville and Tyrus Knox of Brevard.
