Anyone interested in attending North Carolina State University has a new guaranteed pathway to admission through Southwestern Community College.
Joined by NC State’s Senior Vice Provost, Dr. Don Hunt, SCC President Dr. Don Tomas recently signed an agreement to join Wolfpack Connect, a statewide guaranteed admissions partnership.
Wolfpack Connect creates a new pathway for SCC students if they meet the following criteria:
- Earn an associate degree from SCC
- Maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA
- Meet NC State transfer application deadlines
“This is a wonderful opportunity for our current and even prospective students who always wanted to attend N.C. State University,” Dr. Tomas said. “I’m thankful to Dr. Hunt and everyone at N.C. State as well as everyone on our team here at SCC that worked so hard in putting this agreement together.”
The agreement is similar to existing partnerships SCC has with Western Carolina University (WCU Connect) and UNC-Chapel Hill (C-STEP), which also guarantee admission to the universities for students who meet partnership criteria.
