Q1) What motivates you to continue and excel at SCC in spite of circumstances you may face?
A1) My dream has always been to be in the medical field and when I lost my father in law, to emphysema, I decided I wanted to be a Respiratory Therapist because they had the most impact on the comfort and support of his quality of life. What could be more rewarding than helping someone breathe? I also, have 6 children and 9 grandchildren who I want to see me succeed and to know that you're never too old or its never too late to follow your dreams!
Q2) What advice would you give to future students who might face similar situations?
A2) Take it day by day and just know that tomorrow is a brand new day! Do not be afraid to ask questions, lots of questions! Samantha Campbell and Brent Holland are the best of the best and are always there if you need them!
