What motivates you to continue and excel at SCC in spite of circumstances you may face?
Being a first time college student is an exciting period of readjustment for me. Getting back into a school routine after 23 years has been my main obstacle. Nevertheless, I plan to use this opportunity as my motivation to work towards and earn a degree. That is why I will continue to excel at SCC.
What advice would you give to future students who might face similar situations?
My advice to first time college students is to utilize all available resources provided, such as Student Support Services, UTAC, LAC, the Holt library, and your instructors. They can only help you achieve your goals in the long run.
