Poetry & Easter Egg Hunts

Are you ready to hunt for some goodies?

Over the next couple of weeks, SCC is offering two opportunities for students to hunt around our campuses and our website for prizes.

Both contests are open only to SCC students, who'll need to present their student ID to claim their prizes.

 

POETRY FIND & SEEK (APRIL 6)

The first hunt will be a "Poetry Find and Seek" in celebration of National Poetry Month. From 8 a.m.-4 p.m., students can search for 80 specially marked poems hidden around the Jackson Campus, and another 20 will be hidden on our website. For the online hunt, just surf throughout our site until you find this graphic:

Once you click on the graphic, it'll take you to a new page with a poem that you'll need to read to one of our designated listeners listed below to receive $5:

THE GREAT SCC EASTER EGG HUNT (APRIL 12)

From 8 a.m.-4 p.m. (or until they're all found), Exactly 1,000 plastic eggs will be hidden around our Jackson and Macon Campuses as well as the Swain Center - and we'll also have the following graphic hidden on pages throughout our website (each one is worth $5): 

When you find this graphic on an SCC web page, click on it and fill out the corresponding form.

When you find a plastic egg at one of our locations, you'll need to redeem the eggs to one of the following individuals in order to receive your $5 prize:

Jackson Campus - Cheryl Contino-Conner (Balsam Center, Enrollment Services)

Macon Campus - Kristan Blanton
