An eighth-generation native of Macon County, Cory McCall was appointed to the Board of Trustees by Gov. Roy Cooper. Mr. McCall is co-owner of Outdoor 76, Brown Dog Tees and Rock House Lodge - all based in Franklin. He earned a B.S. degree in Hospitality and Tourism from Western Carolina University and serves on the Macon County Economic Development Commission board, along with the Growing Outdoors Partnership. He and his wife, Bethany, have three children: Sawyer, Tallulah and Wren. Cory is also the grandson of longtime trustee Jerry Sutton, who served on the board for 32 years. Cory McCall's current term goes until June 30, 2026.
