WHAT YOU STUDY

You'll learn mathematical and scientific concepts related to specimen collection, laboratory testing and procedures. We'll also emphasize quality assurance and reporting/recording while interpreting findings involving tissues, blood and body fluids.

 

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Once you successfully complete the examination given by the Board of Certification of the American Society of Clinical Pathology, employment opportunities abound in laboratories at hospitals, physician offices, industry, and research facilities.
