The High School Equivalency (HSE) program at Southwestern Community College offers adults who did not complete a formal high school program the opportunity to earn their high school credential.
SCC offers two state-approved tests for students to obtain their High School Equivalency (GED or HiSET). In passing all sections of either of these tests you will have earned your High School Equivalency Certificate, awarded by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
