Online Courses with SCC CE Online

Online SCC Courses;

If you are a highly motivated learner with a busy schedule, taking a class over the Internet offers an opportunity for you to gain skills without the structure of the traditional classroom. CE online offers certification or certification renewal classes to meet the needs of the busy student who finds attending traditional seat base classes to not be a good option.


Course that are currently offered at the Public Safety Training Center are:


  • Detention Officer In-Service Training Online

  • Law Enforcement In-Service Training Online

  • Paramedic Refresher Topics Online

  • Telecommunicators In-Service Training Online

  •  Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-Basic) Hybrid

 


How To Get Started:


  1. To Select and Register for a class click HERE to be linked to the Public Safety Training Center.

  2. Find the area of study you are wishing to register for from the quick menu on the right hand side.

  3. Once to the information page for the class:

  • Select the Registration Form Link

  • Complete the Entire Registration Form

  • Submit

    4. Confirmation


  • You will Receive a confirmation email back  with instructions that login information will be sent to your email on the first day of class.


    5. Entering Your Class

  • First Day class is scheduled to start you will receive an email with

    • Instructions for access

    • Instructions for Username and Password

    • Instructions for navigating the class.

All courses require


  • Internet access

  • Web Browser

  • email account

  • Students must list the agency that they are affiliated with as Employing Agency.  If no Agency is listed then class rates will apply for class charge.

  • Basic computer knowledge needed.

  • Each class will have requirements for completion and passing scores.  See class requirements listed in each class.
