Events and Job Fairs

Career Services offers a wide variety of events and programs designed to help students in every aspect of their career development. They include:

• Career Fairs and Recruitment Events
• Career Seminars on various topics like Career Decision-Making, Resume Writing, LinkedIn and Networking, Interview Preparation, Dining Etiquette and Dressing for Success
• Career Panels and Presentations on Specific Jobs or Skills
• Career Information Sessions
• Career Technology Workshops

Unless otherwise stated, Career Services programs are open to all students, alumni, and the public.

For Job Fairs, Panels and Networking Events:

• Professional attire is encouraged, and job seekers should bring fresh copies of an updated resume - go HERE for help with resumes and related tasks.

Healthcare Expo with Healthcare Panel Discussions: Success Stories from Second-Years (Panel 1) and Soft Skills from the Pros (Panel 2)

Friday, September 13, 9:00 am - 10:00 am & 10:00 am - 11:00 am

• Panel from 9-10: Health Sciences second-year students and recent graduates will provide advice and wisdom from their experiences for SCC first-year students, pre- healthcare students, and anybody interested in succeeding in healthcare training and coursework at SCC.
• Panel from 10-11: Employer partners will share wisdom for second-year students or recent alumni about healthcare job applications and hiring processes, soft skills that will make them successful, and more!
• Also from 8-12, there will be a Health Sciences annual Health Fair in the adjacent Don Tomas Health Sciences Center staffed by students and faculty in the main lobby where SCC students, area high school students, and the public can gain knowledge about their own health and learn about all healthcare programs at SCC!
